Top five funds in IMA Strategic Bond sector all return above 4% over one year against an average of 23.1%

With the ability to invest across the fixed interest spectrum, strategic bonds have proved popular as investors use manager expertise to identify the best opportunities across bond markets. The IMA £ Strategic Bond sector includes 67 funds with a remit to invest at least 80% of assets in sterling-denominated, fixed interest securities.
