One of 2005's young Germans to watch, Schroders European Equity yield manager builds strong track record

When Schroders hired Germany's star fund manager Sonja Schemmann to manage its European Equity Yield fund she came with an enviable track record. At the age of just 31, Schemman was managing Deutsche Bank's second-biggest equity fund with €5bn of assets under management. The year before her move to Schroders in 2005, her Top Dividends fund generated growth of 21% when many funds in Europe were struggling.
