Like investors in equities everywhere, investors in UK equity income funds have lost significant amounts of money. However, all is not doom and gloom and equity income investors should take some comfort from the fact they avoided some of the biggest losses, faring better than those invested in either the UK Growth sector or the FTSE All-Share Index.
