Thriving emerging markets aid Global Growth

Top-performing managers across the sector confirm emerging markets have driven returns over past three years with Neptune Global Equity heading peer group

Many of the best-performing Global Growth funds over the past three years have benefited from large positions in thriving emerging markets. Neptune's Global Equity is the best performer over the period, showing 132.6% bid-to-bid growth. Manager Robin Geffen said he takes a top-down, country-by-country approach to the selection of stocks. "People think global equity funds are lumbering creatures that hover close to the index," he added. "But we are very active in terms of the way we do the asset allocation."
