The Schroder UK Mid and Small Cap and Invesco English and International investment trusts may operate in the same sector but they are starkly different vehicles. The Invesco-run company has been in the hands of Henley-based manager Andy Crossley since November 1991. Benchmarked against the Hoare Govett Smaller companies (ex investment companies) and Aim indices, it contains 170 holdings.
