The well-known claim that summer is a ‘quiet’ period in markets is one of the most consistent lies we all seem to collectively believe.

While it is true that offices are quieter and less ‘churn' is coming out the news cycle, there has never been a summer/August where several marked events have not sprung up, at least for me.
