Schroder's Matt Bennison resigns less than two months after taking on Income Growth mandate

Schroders fund manager Matt Bennison has unexpectedly resigned from the firm, just over a month since he was named co-manager of Schroder Income Growth (SCF).

In an RNS notice today (1 July) Schroders said it was planning to recruit "another experienced" fund manager and an analyst to support remaining manager Sue Noffke, who is also the firm's head of UK equities. Schroder Income Growth names co-manager to bolster shareholder returns A spokesperson for the firm told Investment Week that Bennison was leaving to "pursue an opportunity outside Schroders, and we wish him well for the future". They confirmed that Bennison will remain at Schroders until September "to ensure an orderly handover with the team". Bennison started at Schroders ...
