Terry Smith's Fundsmith Equity returned to interactive investor's top ten most-bought funds in September, after dropping out of it in August.

The fund, now ranking 10th on ii's list in September, had held a top ten spot since the platform began tracking the most-bought investments in 2018. Alongside Fundsmith Equity, other new entries included private equity trust 3i Group. Investors were less excited about technology last month, with the L&G Global Technology index losing its top ranking and moving down to 4th place on the list.
