Home REIT has sold a further 65 properties for £15.9m, taking the total number of properties either completed or exchanged for sale to 773, more than a third of the trust’s portfolio before the public auctions began.
In a stock exchange notice today (19 April), the trust said the properties are in line with JLL's August draft valuation, and represent 4.8% of its portfolio by value. The properties were sold at a public auction on 18 April. AEW UK Investment Management took over as Home REIT's new manager and alternative investment fund manager in August last year, after an internal investigation raised concerns about Alvarium's handling of the trust's property portfolio.
