Shawbrook Bank owners consider London IPO - reports

Shawbrook Bank’s private equity parent companies are considering a public listing of the firm on the London Stock Exchange.

According to reports from The Times, some City investors have "understood" that BC Partners and Pollen Street Capital, which bought Shawbrook for £868m in 2017, are considering an initial public offering of the latter. Flutter Entertainment eyes move of primary listing to New York Pollen Street Capital and BC Partners declined to comment. Shawbrook has been contacted for comment. The private equity owners previously considered a public offering in 2022, which they sought a £2bn valuation for at the time, but dropped the plans last year, according to the newspaper.
