Top GAM heads resign amid senior reshuffle

Top GAM heads David Dowsett and Jeremy Roberts have resigned from the firm amid its ongoing reshuffle, Investment Week has learned.

Roberts joined GAM in September 2020 from BlackRock, where he was co-head of EMEA retail sales and head of UK retail, while Dowsett joined GAM in April last year, leading GAM's investment teams. He was previously partner and co-CIO of BlueBay Asset Management. Last Thursday (19 October), GAM revealed its new senior management line-up following Liontrust's failed takeover attempt. GAM agrees CHF 100m loan with core shareholder Dowsett, who was global head of investments, was replaced by Albert Saporta, the director of shareholder group NewGAMe which opposed the proposed takeover...
