Sanlam Investments appoints head of investments and risk

Sanlam Investments UK has appointed Chris Rodgers to the newly created role of head of investments and risk.

Rodgers will step back from portfolio management responsibilities after previously working as a senior fund manager for Sanlam, most recently head of UK equities. Rodgers will be responsible for all the direct investment teams, and the investment performance and risk team. He will report to CEO, Haydn Franckeiss. Prior to Sanlam, Rodgers worked for Schroders for 20 years, then become head of UK equities at HSBC Asset Management. He was then a founding partner of FOUR Capital, which Sanlam acquired.
