Square Mile chief executive officer Richard Romer-Lee has said advisers should be authentic with ESG investing, urging them to consider the different types of people that will want to save sustainably.

Speaking on the third day of the Sustainable Investment Festival hosted by Professional Adviser and sister publications Investment Week, Professional Pensions and International Investment, Romer-Lee (pictured) said there were different kinds of ethical investors that advisers should consider. Firstly, he said there was the ethical investor, a saver who wants to avoid industries or practices that cause harm.
