Tyndall IM hires former Merian manager

Tyndall Investment Management has hired former Merian fund manager Simon Murphy to its UK equities desk.

Murphy, who left Merian at the end of 2018 after 11 years as head of UK large cap equities, will assume control of the VT TyndallReal Income fund - currently run by chief executive Alex Odd - on 1 February.  Murphy previously spent ten years at M&G Investments.
