HSBC GAM to grow ETF offering in 2020 while expanding senior team

HSBC Global Asset Management has begun the year with plans to launch eight ESG ETFs, as well as a fixed income ETF platform, with a precious metals platform to come later in the year.

The plans are part of HSBC GAM's ambition to "substantially grow" their ETF offering for 2020 and beyond, and include the creation of around 15 new roles over the year, the firm said. New roles will span a variety of functions, including product development, operations, sales specialists, capital markets, marketing and ETF strategists.
