In the running for BoE governor

Helena Morrissey is leaving Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) after almost three years at the business.

Morrissey, who has interviewed for the role of Bank of England Governor, joined the investment company as head of personal investing in at the beginning of 2017 after spending 15 years as chief executive at Newton. She is a keen supporter of gender diversity and set up The 30% Club, which campaigns to raise female representation in UK boardrooms to 30%.  Morrissey will continue to work with LGIM through the Diversity Project, which she said "demonstrated the good on-going relationship" between her and the company.  "I'm delighted by the progress my colleagues and I have made in buildi...
