GQG Partners hires ex-Neptune sales head Lee

Responsible for developing firm's presence in UK and Irish wholesale markets

GQG Partners has hired ex-Neptune Investment Management UK sales head Dan Lee as director for UK and Ireland business development.

Lee will be responsible for developing and implementing the investment management boutique's presence in the wholesale markets in the UK and Ireland. GQG runs two UCITS strategies, GQG Partners Emerging Markets Equity and GQG Partners Global Equity. Rajiv Jain, chairman and CEO of GQG, also runs a sleeve of the multi-manager Alliance Trust investment trust. Lee said GQG was "one of the fastest-growing, truly active equity investment managers in the world and is expanding as others retrench".
