Quilter Cheviot hires managing director from Brooks Macdonald

Quilter Cheviot has appointed Nick Holmes from Brooks Macdonald as managing director to support its growth strategy and a number of new initiatives.

Holmes spent his entire career at Brooks Macdonald, having started as a trainee investment management 22 years ago and finishing as managing director; he led the investment management business between 2008 and 2018. Quilter Cheviot CEO Andrew McGlone said: "I am delighted to welcome Nick to our business as we share a similar vision of the opportunities and challenges our industry faces. During his time at Brooks Macdonald, Nick led the business through a number of milestones and I very much look forward to seeing him achieve similar success here at Quilter Cheviot."
