Quilter Cheviot has appointed Nick Holmes from Brooks Macdonald as managing director to support its growth strategy and a number of new initiatives.
Holmes spent his entire career at Brooks Macdonald, having started as a trainee investment management 22 years ago and finishing as managing director; he led the investment management business between 2008 and 2018.

During his time at Brooks Macdonald, Nick led the business through a number of milestones and I very much look forward to seeing him achieve similar success here at Quilter Cheviot."
Holmes added: "I am delighted to have joined Quilter Cheviot, a firm that is renowned for delivering consistently strong investment performance and high quality service for its clients.
"The firm is clearly on a growth trajectory, so it is an exciting time to come on board and I am really looking forward to contributing to its future success and working with its talented individuals to deliver the best possible service to its clients and intermediary supporters."
