The hedge fund community has had a good start to 2015. According to Preqin, hedgies and their funds have now returned 5.4% for 2015 YTD, compared to 4.6% for the whole of 2014. Much of the most fascinating part of the turnaround has been focused on CTA, or managed futures funds.
