VIDEO: A rapper's take on the US debt crisis

With the US on the verge of pushing through a deal to raise the country's debt ceiling by at least $2.1trn, American comedian Remy Munasifi gives his own unique take on the proposal.

In the video entitled 'Raise the Debt Ceiling' Munasifi urges Congress to pass through the reforms.  He warns failure to raise the debt ceiling will send the US into default. He also points out: "the US debt situation is more unsustainable than my rap career."
