Blimey, the coalition government might be onto something with the announcement of Junior Isas.
It probably did not take a rocket scientist to come up with the idea, but it is encouraging to see they have come up with something quite simple – and most importantly it is not going to cost the government anything. We all expected Child Trust Funds to go – a bit of a shame – but inevitable, and they will not be universally missed.
