Success of ETFs is their simplicity

Last week saw major indices hit 18-month highs with many now comfortably sitting at pre-crash levels.

Adding to the good news was the fact, in the US, around half of companies have beaten analysts earnings with the US stock market enjoying its strongest start to a year for a decade, rising 4.9%. All of this will give a feel good factor to investors who appear to be embracing risk again, despite still sporting scars from the horrors February 2009. A background story to all this good news was the European ETF industry last week celebrated its 10th anniversary.
