Harry Katz, Norwest Consultants Sir, Your account of Aifa's appearance in front of the Treasury Select Committee elicited feelings of intense irritation and frustration. Let me express my admiration for the trio at Aifa for their courage in appearing before what can only be described as this circus. These committees seem to have made up their mind before they listen to evidence. A little humility from these bombasts might actually have the result of producing some worthwhile policy that may, in fact, not only restore confidence but actually encourage the savings ratio to increase.
