The latest research from Incisive Buzz asks is there is a need for greater transparency of funds charges beyond the total expense ratio? Comments were as follows: Those who stated yes added: • Clients do not understand. • Make it clear and simple. • Total fund charges are much too high in the UK. • A total breakdown of charges is necessary. • TER only catches recurring charges. • Some companies are still reluctant to tell you the full TER. • It would save being accused of mis-selling at a later date. • Just one disclosure does not make anything transparent. • There is no ...
