We asked 129 intermediaries whether, now that ethical investments have proved they can perform in line with mainstream investments, would they consider recommending them to their clients. Their comments were as follows: • We always ask clients if they would like ethical funds within their portfolio. • I think, generally, clients are more ethically and financially aware and therefore happier to look at this option, providing they are going to make money of course. • I've been an ethical investment specialist for the past 10 years.
