Amy King IFA paraplanner Sir, Arranging an annuity, something that should be quite simple, has proved to be generally time-consuming. I believe the solution is in the hands of the FSA. Pension reporting and comparisons would be far simplified if there was a universal default projection basis enforced by the FSA. One important issue is that of inflation - quoting in today's money shows a more realistic projection to clients, but apparently not all types of pension must quote in today's money, which at present is only compounding the comparison problem.
