Next month Friends Provident is launching a charitable foundation funded initially from the proceeds of unclaimed shares from its flotation, and one of the first initiatives it will undertake is the publication of a book about money. Entitled The Right Use of Money, the book and foundation will be launched at an event in London with a debate around this theme chaired by the BBC journalist Michael Buerk, and for the first three years of its life the foundation will pursue a programme designed to encourage the 'right use of money.'
