As we all await the forthcoming Budget statement - probably this Chancellor's last - the annual debate and lobbying is firmly under way for an improvement in Isa investment limits. Fidelity's Richard Wastcoat was quoted in the Mail on Sunday as saying: "If the Government is serious about its intention to foster a long-term savings culture among the public, it needs to make it worthwhile for people to invest in Isas."
