Queen's speech
Steve Bee, Scottish Life Sir, As I expected, the Government outlined its intention to introduce a pensions bill in the Queen's speech that, it said, is going to do lots of things, like setting up the Pensions Protection Fund, introducing a new kind of pensions regulator. It's going to simplify contracting out, change the LPI requirements, cut red tape, make it easier for people to find out what pension benefits they are going to get - all the issues I've been going on about since the Green Paper last December.
