With the chairman of the insignificantly-sized investment company SmallBlue Planet still in hospital and me apparently a couple of quid short to buy Edinburgh Fund Managers myself, there"s not an awful lot to talk about this week apart from my standard fallback position of the spurious survey. Well, to be honest, for all I know there could be plenty to talk about by the time you read this but I"m off on a well-deserved holiday and am thus having to write this column straight after the last one.
