Dear Sir, I think the question that needs to be answered by our regulator is this: how unbiased can a regulator be if the only income it has available is membership fees and fines imposed on those members? It is no wonder that we live in a culture of compensation when our regulator is looking for the next scandal and to impose further fines on its members. Perhaps the client should take some of the responsibility for making a financial decision.
