Responses to the Incisive Buzz survey on offshore investing
Despite the huge range of offshore funds available to onshore clients, UK investors still tend to buy British-domiciled products. The UK funds industry, as represented by the IMA, continues to look to performance peer groups made up of UK-based funds rather than those available to UK investors. Many multi-managers have a marked preference for onshore rather than offshore product.
