For anyone who enjoys a drink in Britain, this promises to be a good year. For the first time, the nation's 60,000 pubs will be allowed to stay open as long as they like. The old rules that meant pubs had to close at 11pm are being scrapped and you will be allowed to stay at the bar for 24 hours, if you can stand up that long.
