In an industry increasingly devoid of mavericks, Investment Week would like to pay tribute to two investors who genuinely deserve the tag. Nils Taube and Tony Dye both died earlier this month after long investment careers during which they often had the conviction to challenge consensus. Dye in particular was pilloried by most of the industry when he refused to play the TMT game in the late 1990s, as were managers like Neil Woodford.
