The impact of rising oil prices on Asian growth was one of the key topics raised in the most recent Conjecture debate. Jupiter chief executive Edward Bonham Carter suggested this could slow down growth in the Pacific while Michael Hughes, CIO at Barings, argued this would not happen unless oil hit $100 a barrel.
