Two property investment trusts run by BMO Global Asset Management will become the latest of the firm's suite of products to rebrand from the F&C label to the BMO name.
The £969m F&C Commercial Property Trust received shareholder approval for the name change on Thursday (30 May) to become BMO Commercial Property Trust.
The £227m F&C Real Estate Investments Limited will become BMO Real Estate Investments Limited, having gained approval in November 2018. The pair will also have new tickers - BCPT and BREI respectively.
Investment Week revealed in November the plans to rebrand the mandates - both open-ended and closed-end - it gained thanks to its acquisition of F&C Asset Management in 2014. It also rebadged all its savings plans to BMO.
The news means the whole of the F&C investment trust range has now been rebranded, said Marrack Tonkin, head of investment trusts at BMO GAM.
Tonkin added: "Our property trusts are a core part of our offering, providing diversification benefits with the prospects of income and capital growth for investors, making them popular with our direct customers as well as advisers and wealth managers."
None of the changes will affect shareholders' investments, BMO continued, with the aims and objectives of their investments remaining the same.
