SJP extends DFM proposition to Ireland with acquisition

St James's Place Wealth Management has acquired Dublin-based pensions and investment firm Harvest Financial Services in a bid to extend its discretionary fund management (DFM) service to a new client base.

St. James's Place (SJP) currently provides DFM services to UK and Hong Kong-based clients through its wholly-owned subsidiary Rowan Dartington, which became part of the group in 2016 and now has funds under management of £2.3bn.  The acquisition will see these capabilities extended to clients based in the Republic of Ireland. Harvest Financial Services was established in 1993, and now has over 1,500 clients and assets under administration and advice of around €1bn, with more than 50 people working at its Dublin offices.
