PIMCO ESG head Amey retires

The Adviser Centre removes fund from Recommended list

PIMCO's head of ESG strategies and manager of the £614m Select UK Income Bond fund Mike Amey is retiring at the end of June.

Lorenzo Pagani, managing director and portfolio manager, will take over the UK portfolios while Lupin Rahman, executive vice president, portfolio manager and lead on ESG in the emerging markets, will assume additional responsibilities working with the rest of the ESG core group. While there are no plans to change the investment philosophy or the process of the Select UK Income Bond fund, The Adviser Centre has removed it from its Recommended list in order to monitor the new management team.
