John Redwood knighted in New Year's Honours list

Conservative MP and Charles Stanley's chief global strategist John Redwood has been knighted in the New Year Honours list for political and public service.

The former Cabinet minister and leading Brexiteer was among 20 others to receive a knighthood this year. The MP for Wokingham joined Charles Stanley in 2013 after the firm acquired Evercore Pan-Asset Capital Management, the company he co-founded with Christopher Aldous in 2007. Alongside Redwood (pictured), former Virgin Money chief executive Jayne-Anne Gadhia was made a dame for services to financial services and women in the financial industry.
