HANetf hires business development director from Invesco

16-year career in ETFs

HANetf has expanded its team with the hire of Faisal El-Hakim from Invesco as business development director.

Reporting to Hector McNeil (pictured), co-founder and co-CEO of HANetf, El-Hakim will be responsible for engaging with asset managers worldwide, who want to increase the distribution of strategies through a UCITS ETF wrapper. El-Hakim has 16 years' experience in the ETF space, most recently as head of Asia-Pacific and Middle East ETF business development and sales at Invesco. He has also held roles in product structuring and business development at Source, H&W Capital, HSBC, ABN AMRO and Bear Stearns.
