BlackRock has promoted Joe Parkin to head of iShares and digital wealth UK, Netherlands and the Nordics.

In his new role, he will be responsible for the firm's ETF, index and index solutions business across institutional, wealth and retail clients in the UK. Parkin (pictured) will also be developing BlackRock's digital wealth business with clients across Northern Europe. In his previous role as head of wealth and retail, UK, Ireland and the Channel Islands at iShares, he was responsible for the distribution of the firm's passive business in the UK.
