Nimmo's Standard Life UK Small-cap trust appoints former OMGI manager Bradbury as director

The Standard Life UK Smaller Companies trust has appointed former Old Mutual Global Investors (OMGI) fund manager Ashton Bradbury as an independent non-executive director, with effect from 2 July 2018.

Bradbury established OMGI's small and mid-cap equities team and was a highly regarded fund manager, retiring from the firm in 2014. He managed the Old Mutual UK Mid Cap fund before stepping back from day-to-day retail fund management in 2009 and training the group's mid and small-cap team, including current manager of the £3.7bn mid-cap fund Richard Watts and Dan Nickols, who runs the group's small-cap fund.
