Pedal the Pond update: Team battle 'treacherous' storms and 25ft waves in bid to cross Atlantic

Raising awareness for young person's mental health charity

Four young men who are crossing the Atlantic, sponsored by Incisive and Investec Asset Management, have faced "treacherous" conditions as they enter the last third of their route.

In their latest blog post, they describe a tumultuous 4-day stint in which they faced strong winds (in the wrong direction), 12-25ft waves and a monsoon-type downpour. The team, made up of Paddy Johnson, Hec Turner, Henry Quinlan and Max Mossman, are raising awareness and vital cash for young person's mental health charity the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust, and also hope to break a number of world records along the way.
