Santander Asset Management has promoted global multi-asset solutions head Tom Caddick to chief investment officer (CIO) of its UK arm.
Caddick replaces David Stewart, who was Santander AM UK CIO between 2012 and 2015.
Stewart subsequently went on to become director of strategic institutional solutions before leaving the firm in July 2017.
It has not been announced who will replace Caddick as head of global multi-asset solutions.
The new CIO has held a number of senior roles since joining the firm in 2011 including head of fund management, global multi-manager. His promotion took effect in October 2017.
Caddick joined Santander from Liverpool Victoria Asset Management, where he was head of multi-manager and fund selection between December 2007 and January 2011.
He started his career at Ashcourt Asset Management as an investment manager before joining at F&C Asset Management as a fund manager in 2004.
