OMW's national advice firm acquires £205m financial planning business

Old Mutual Wealth's (OMW) national advice firm OMW Private Client Advisers has acquired Cumbria-based financial planning firm Dodd Murray, adding £205m assets to its books.

The deal will see three of Dodd Murray's advisers join the business, as well as additional support staff.  Dodd Murray's Carlisle office will become a regional office of OMW Private Client Advisers, alongside its existing Chester, London, Devon, Birmingham and Yorkshire premises. Following completion of the acquisition, Dodd Murray managing director Chris Fuller will become a regional director at the national.
