Credit Suisse AM's emerging markets team joins R&M

Bringing over two funds

River & Mercantile has agreed to acquire the Emerging Markets Industrial Life Cycle (ILC) team from Credit Suisse Asset Management, which runs two funds with a total of $360m in assets.

Under this co-operation agreement Al Bryant and Todd Leigh, together with their emerging markets industrial life cycle (ILC) team, join River & Mercantile effective Monday 26 June. The team have worked together at Credit Suisse AM for the past five years.  Some $360m in assets will be transferred as part of the deal, initially under an investment advisory agreement. Subject to regulatory approval, the Credit Suisse (Lux) Global Emerging Market ILC Equity and Small & Mid Cap Emerging Market ILC Equity funds will also be transferred to River & Mercantile and renamed to reflect the mo...
