Seneca's Alan Borrows to retire at end of 2017

Will run funds until year-end

Alan Borrows, manager of the Seneca Global Income & Growth trust, has announced his intention to retire at the end of this year.

Borrows joined Midas Capital Partners as senior investment manager in 2002, remaining with the company when it rebranded to Seneca Investment Managers in 2014. He has been lead manager on the group's £100m Diversified Income fund since its launch in 2002 and the £66m Global Income & Growth trust (formerly known as the Midas Income & Growth trust) since 2005.
