Financial Reporting Council appoints LGIM CEO Zinkula to board

The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) has appointed chief executive of Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) Mark Zinkula to its board of directors.

Starting on the 1 April, Zinkula (pictured) will replace Elizabeth Corley who is stepping down after completing her second three-year term. Zinkula has been CEO of LGIM since 2011, developing the firm across multiple locations and client channels. FRC gives 40 investment firms six months to improve reporting standards Prior to his current role, he was CEO of LGIM America for three years, where he was responsible for the growth of the business with a focus on the institutional market.
