Jupiter appoints Gunn manager of Growth & Income fund

First 'stand-alone' product for Gunn

Jupiter's Alastair Gunn has been appointed fund manager of the Jupiter Growth & Income fund following the departure of previous lead manager Chris Watt last year.

Watt left the firm in early 2016 to join small-cap specialists Aberforth Partners, leaving behind the £83m fund, which was launched 20 years ago in November. The fund was being managed by Steve Davies on an interim basis. Gunn (pictured) currently manages the equity portion of the Jupiter Distribution fund range, including the £500m Jupiter Distribution & Growth fund, which he co-runs with fixed income manager Rhys Petheram.
