Downing appoints investment director for VCT team

Downing LLP has appointed Richard Lewis as investment director in its growth capital team, to work predominantly on the VCT portfolios.

Prior to Downing, Lewis held a number of roles including head of investment at Radius Equity, and spent nine years at Mitsui & Co, where he worked across a number of countries including the UK, US and Israel. Yearsley and Robertson appointed to Downing board In his new role, he will work within Downing's growth capital team who are responsible investing £1m to £5m into UK companies who are looking to grow their business, via the VCT range.
